Eco Energy Ltd is a green social enterprise with principal focus on Biomass, Biogas and Solar. Access to reliable and sustainable energy is crucial for the development and well-being of communities.
Biomass (Charcoal and Ecological charcoal): Nearly one third (1/3) of the world still relies on rudimentary cooking means with serious consequences for human health especially the female gender who still cook their meals over open fire place or on basic stoves breathing in harmful smoke released from burning coal ,wood charcoal firewood, or agriculture waste. Eco Energy Ltd intends to solve this problem by producing an ecological clean charcoal from sawdust and other organic waste as well as associating hardwood charcoal with advanced cook stoves.
Biogas:Biogas is produced from decomposition of organic materials. These residues are placed in a biogas digester in the absence of oxyen. With the help of a range of bacteria, organic matters break down releasing a blend of gases: 45-85 vol % carbon-dixoide (C02). The used for multiple applications. Meanwhile, Biomethane is the upgraded from of biogas and approximately equal to natural gas in quality .It can also be produced by gasification or power to methane technologies. Eco Energy Ltd intends to make use of some of the application of this biogas technology for local use such as shown below:- Power for domestic (clean cooking) and industrial applications.- Waste Recycling- Agro Ecological TransitionEco Energy Ltd has as vision to promote the affordable use of this technology in Cameroon and the sub central African region to reduced emission caused by other polluting energy sources in domestic and industrial applications. More details coming soon….
Solar:Eco Energy Ltd aims to address these challenges by installing mini renewable energy plants ranging from solar, biomass and biogas of 100kw to 1MW in other to provide electricity to off-grid communities. . Unfortunately, many off-grid communities still rely on fossil fuels, which not only contribute to environmental degradation but also hinder socio-economic progress. By reducing reliance on fossil fuels and improving living conditions, this initiative will promote sustainability, energy independence, and overall community development. In its National Development Strategy 2020-2030, Cameroon has set significant targets for the development of its electricity sector: of an additional 3,500 MW by 2035 and about 1 million new connections to achieve the universal access to electricity by 2035.Eco Energy Ltd is supplier of domestic and industrial solar energy as in solar home system or construction of mini-solar photovoltaic power plants to generate off-grid power in remote communities in Cameroon the central African sub-region as shown in the diagram shown below: Solar mini-photovoltaic layout
